FAQs
Answers to some common questions about working with a freelance graphic designer for branding and website design.
What types of businesses do you work with?
I mainly work with growing small businesses, founders and creative entrepreneurs who are ready to move from DIY design to a more professional, strategic brand presence. Many of my clients are at a stage where their business has grown, but their branding or website no longer reflects the level they’re operating at.
Are you based in Cardiff?
Yes. I’m a Cardiff-based branding and website designer, working with clients across South Wales and throughout the UK. Most projects are completed remotely, so location is never a limitation.
Can I hire you if I’m not in Cardiff?
Absolutely. While I’m based in Cardiff, I regularly work with clients across the UK through video calls, shared feedback documents and collaborative online tools. Most projects are delivered remotely, so location isn’t a barrier.
Do you work with international clients?
I primarily work with UK-based businesses. This helps with collaboration, time zones and project flow. If you’re outside the UK you’re welcome to get in touch, but my focus is supporting businesses based in the UK.
What services do you offer?
I specialise in strategic branding, logo design, WordPress website design, and print and editorial design. This includes brand identities, websites, brochures, magazines, exhibition graphics and ongoing design support.
Do I need branding or just a logo?
A logo is one part of your brand. A full brand identity includes your visual style, colours, typography, and design direction — everything that helps your business look consistent and professional. If your business is growing, a full brand identity usually creates stronger long-term results.
My branding looks DIY — can you help?
Yes. This is one of the most common reasons clients come to me. If your business has grown but your branding no longer feels aligned with your quality or experience, I can help you create a more strategic, professional identity that reflects where your business is now.
How do I know if it’s time to rebrand?
It’s often the right time when your business has evolved, your audience has changed, or your current branding feels inconsistent or outdated. Many clients come to me when they feel their visuals no longer match the level of service they provide.
Can you design both my branding and website?
Yes. Many clients choose to work with me for both branding and website design so everything feels cohesive and strategically aligned. This creates a smoother process and a more consistent end result.
Do you design WordPress websites?
Yes. I design strategic WordPress websites and often collaborate with trusted developers for the build stage, ensuring the final site is both beautifully designed and technically sound.
Can you work with my existing developer or team?
Absolutely. I regularly collaborate with developers, marketers and printers to make sure projects run smoothly and everything works together seamlessly.
Do you offer print and editorial design?
Yes. Alongside branding and websites, I design print and editorial projects such as brochures, magazines, exhibition graphics, newsletters and other marketing materials.
Do you offer ongoing design support?
Yes. Many clients continue working with me after launch for ongoing design support as their business grows. This can include new marketing materials, updates, or additional design projects.
How much does branding cost for a small business?
Every project is tailored to the needs of the business, so pricing varies depending on scope and complexity. I’ll always provide clear options and recommendations after an initial discovery conversation so you know exactly what to expect, and I’m always happy to talk through options to suit different budgets.
Do you offer logo-only or small design projects?
Absolutely. I’m happy to help with everything from one-off design pieces to full brand and website projects.
I’ve outgrown my current website — what should I do?
If your website no longer reflects your business or isn’t supporting your growth, a strategic redesign can help reposition your brand, improve clarity, and better convert visitors into enquiries.
